Yoga instruction, specializing in private and semi-private sessions with a therapeutic element. Each practice is developed specifically for the individual and can address emotional issues such as anxiety or depression as well as physical challenges brought on by injury or disease such as fibromyalgia or arthritis. Classes incorporate breath work, yoga sequences, and mindfulness practices. Initial intake includes assessments to ensure the practice is tailored to meet the clients needs and abilities.

Leslie Phillips
Yoga Instructor
Leslie began her yoga journey in 2010 to enhance her running, hoping to help her body recover and remain balanced. She has continued practicing and learning after coming to realize how much more yoga has to offer mentally and spiritually as well as physically. Leslie has been teaching children's yoga at Brompton Community School in Fredericksburg, Virginia since 2022 and chair yoga at the Fredericksburg Food Co-op which benefits Fredericksburg Food for All Program since 2023. She offers chair yoga and a chair/traditional class at Heal Me Yoga studio where she received her 200 HR YTT, Children's Mindfulness training and Children's Yoga teacher training and is currently working on her 300 HR YTT. Leslie's training and experience offering free yoga to residents at Thurman Brisben Center have instilled in her a deep respect for the classical 8 limbs of yoga and she continues to learn in order to be able to share their benefits to others. She offers an accessible approach for strength, flexibility, breathwork and meditation.
